Activities
Extracuricular
Throughout my life, I have been dedicated to athletics, participating in multiple sports that strengthened my discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills. I played softball for approximately eight years, beginning with T-ball at age five and later competing on a travel team. I continued with the sport until early adolescence. I also cheered for six years, starting in sixth grade and finishing my senior year of high school. During that time, I was selected to serve as co-captain in seventh grade and captain in both my junior and senior years, demonstrating my commitment and leadership within the program. Additionally, I ran track for six years, from sixth through eleventh grade, and was honored to compete in the prestigious Penn Relays, highlighting my athletic ability and dedication to excellence.

DDFL Cheer Coaching

I have participated in several volunteer experiences, but two that I would like to highlight are my cheer coaching and my involvement in Howard University’s Day of Service. I volunteered with DDFL alongside two peers to coach young cheerleaders ages 10–12, where I supported skill development, teamwork, and confidence-building. Additionally, I recently participated in HU Day of Service, collaborating with other Howard students to assist a local high school through community service projects and school-wide improvement efforts.
